Black Hat Is Back 2 - SEO Insanity Revisited

Black Hat Is Back: The Evil and Dark Side of Search Engine Optimization

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand that the ultimate goal as a webmaster is to show up as close to the top in the search engine results pages as possible}. Knowing Google is so intelligent, what is the likelihood that an average web enthusiast can appear high in the search engine results? Is there a method to give yourself an upper-hand over others that aren’t “in the know”?

sector you are trying to crack, the solution to that question isn’t necessarily cut and dry. The solution to this million dollar question really depends on what niche you are trying to enter. Obviously if the niche you are entering is very saturated, the most targeted phrases will have been already optimized by your competitors and it will be very difficult to appear on the first page.

How many times have you looked for a subject and found the first page of results are totally garbage? It’s obviously pretty frustrating if you’re always hammering the back button to redo your search. Logic would then dictate, if you are providing useful information that is highly related to the search term your visitor is searching for, then your “bounce rate” should obviously be less.

Now despite all the above-board or “white hat” methods available, there have been some evil webmasters who have managed high rankings in the search engines using sneaky tactics which are known as “spamdexing” – or Black Hat SEO} Is it sneaky and/or evil to outrank OTHER people’s sites which are actually more relevant than yours? You Bet. Is this a common practice amongst webmasters? Absolutely!

Google, however, is really cracking down on many of these “old school” techniques of manipulating the search engines}.

Some of these techniques include, but are not limited to:

Metatag & keyword stuffing, invisible text or links, link spamming, and cloaking.

*By the way, Black Hat is Back 2 doesn’t necessarily promote or endorse any of these methods and Howie is adament to ensure that you feel comfortable with using his techniques in your business model.

Each of the above techniques is a form of Black Hat SEO or Spamdexing , and will usually get sneaky webmasters who put them to use banned from the search engine or “sandboxed” - which is a fancy word for being delisted from the main search results. Not a good place to be. One of the most aggressive marketers out there is Howie Schwartz and his teachings are documented in a video series called Black Hat Is Back.
