A standard theme in the numerous get-rich-quick home based business offerings that are at present available is the focus on the lack of effort needed to make a substantial income. I am a company computer guy. As such, basically I have a tendency to try to apply logic to most things. It positively shocks me that folk believe that they can work from home and type a couple of things on their PC every day and then the cash will just come flowing in. The promoters claims are that all of the hard work has been done for you and everything is automated and simple . All you have to do is PAY to get access to these awesome profit making systems. Reverse Funnel System, FastTrackCash.com, Passport to Wealth and other programs. I’m very skeptical of programs like them.

Now having said that, I might be sensible to decide that indeed, significant money can be made with a home based internet business. After all, like millions, I myself do an amazing quantity of consumer good shopping on the net. Somebody is earning money from promoting to the masses! But I don’t believe that the “significant money” can be made in the no effort, get-rich-quick way. Any amount of success will take education, direction and qualified mentoring along with a heavy effort in applying of what you have been taught. Most work at home online businesses fail essentially as the objective is to market and sell and the entrepreneur is completely clueless about even the basic elementals needed to do that effectively and successfully. There’s a lot more to internet marketing than posting as many classified’s as possible and spam eMailing.

Now, paying to be educated is an entirely different prospect to that of paying for questionable profit generating system which if it does not succeed you haven’t got any other good to explore because you are not provided with any. More of my logic - if something - anything - isn’t working it’s got to be modified. To make change you should, ideally, have a repertoire of alternative approaches and be talented in deciding which to employ dependent upon circumstances. Now why would one think the same disciplines don’t apply to a home based internet business?

I work from my home already in my company job but with the current economic environment I chose to explore further possible work from home income streams. I was taken aback by the sheer volume of offerings and researching as much as possible continues to be difficult task. Many that I encounter I instantly discard and those that capture my eye frequently get defeated by my deep-seated disbelief.
